The Israeli National Insurance Institute ("Bituah Leumi") published the schedule of benefit payments and reporting deadlines for October 2026. The first recipients, on Monday, October 12, will be those receiving unemployment benefits and subsistence allowances. On Tuesday, October 20, child allowances will be transferred (basic payment for the first child is about 169 shekels). The main date for long-term benefits is Wednesday, October 28: payments for general disability, old-age pensions, survivors' benefits, nursing care, and children with disabilities. The article also lists some benefit amounts for 2026: full general disability benefit is 4,711 shekels, basic old-age pension is 1,838 shekels (with a seniority supplement up to 2,757 shekels). Additionally, Thursday, October 15 is the last deadline for employers, self-employed, and non-working individuals to submit reports and pay contributions to the National Insurance Institute and health insurance.
