Bezeq CEO Nir David said that data traffic on the company's network may double within just three months, driven by the artificial intelligence revolution. In the past, such a doubling took two and a half to three years. The remarks were made during a press tour that Bezeq conducted in its telecommunications tunnels beneath Tel Aviv. The company presented data showing that AI activity among private customers surged threefold in the last three months. David described three main areas of activity: integrating AI agents into customer service, using smart tools for network monitoring, and implementing cybersecurity solutions. The company also presented preparations for a prolonged power outage scenario, with generators and fuel supply via tankers. CTO Yaron Zon said that by the end of 2027, Bezeq expects to complete fiber optic deployment to every household in Israel. David also mentioned examining quantum computing technologies and data centers in space, but without concrete plans.
