National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this morning (Tuesday) at the "People of the State" conference of ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth. Ben Gvir called on Netanyahu: "Instead of trying to drink me, go drink Eisenkot," referring to tensions within the Netanyahu bloc and his claim that the prime minister intends to form a unity government with Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot. The minister expressed support for Police Commissioner Danny Levy, saying he is "satisfied with him over the past year and a half" and that the commissioner "implemented my policy." Ben Gvir defended the policy of home demolitions in the Negev and the wearing of noose pendants, claiming they "reduce attacks." He promised to make in the IDF the same changes he made in the police and prison service, and noted that the number of murders in Arab society has dropped by 20 compared to last year. Ben Gvir also addressed the conditions of prisoners in jails and said: "I took everything from them."
