Ben Gvir: "Ofer Winter does not pass the electoral threshold in polls, he must take responsibility and withdraw"

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called on Ofer Winter to withdraw from the election race, claiming he does not pass the electoral threshold in polls. In an interview, he also addressed his relations with Netanyahu and his demand for an influential role.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called this morning (Tuesday) on the chairman of the 'Amcha Yisrael' party, Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, to withdraw from the election race. In an interview with the 'Medabrim Hadashot' program with Shimon Elkabetz, Ben Gvir said that Winter does not pass the electoral threshold in polls, and that he must 'take responsibility' and step back, similar to Benny Gantz. Ben Gvir mentioned that he himself had faced low polls in the past but chose to unite. Later in the interview, Ben Gvir addressed his relations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he loves him and wants him to be prime minister, but clarified that he does not know what 'senior portfolio' was promised to him, and that he aspires to influential roles, not 'jobs.'
