On the night of November 1, Belarusian hackers hacked the Rosstat website. The pages of the agency displayed an inscription in Belarusian, "No one will escape responsibility," and the logos of the hacker groups "Cyberpartisans BY" and Silent Crow. The hackers claim to have destroyed Rosstat's internal IT infrastructure and obtained real data on Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine. Rosstat confirmed that from October 29 to November 1, its resources were subjected to "targeted destructive cyberattacks," but stated that there was no data leak. In July 2025, the same groups claimed responsibility for hacking the Aeroflot system, which caused a massive outage.
