Bear mauls Russian woman to death – this is already the fourth victim of the predator

This is already the fourth lethal outcome from wild predator aggression in the region over the past several weeks. The victim was found dead approximately fifteen meters from the porch with signs of severe injuries. The Investigative Committee determined that the animal entered the yard at night, damaging the fence. Deep claw marks were recorded on the wooden wall beneath an open window. Two versions are being considered: the pensioner went out to investigate a noise and encountered the predator, or the bear grabbed her through the open window. A neighbor sleeping nearby was not harmed. The predator fled into the forest, and combined groups of police and hunters have begun searching for it.
