Attack on foreign diplomats: The tenth and last suspect released from detention

The tenth and last suspect in the case of the attack on foreign diplomats was released from detention under restrictive conditions. Police attempted to collect complaints from the diplomats but were unsuccessful, stating that the diplomats are not cooperating.

The tenth and last suspect in the case of the attack on foreign diplomats in Judea and Samaria was released from detention under restrictive conditions and was allowed to leave and vote. Alongside him, another suspect (the 11th) arrested a few days ago was also released under restrictive conditions. Police in the Judea and Samaria District tried to collect complaints from the diplomats but failed, stating that "the diplomats are not cooperating." About a week after the attack, the Judea and Samaria District announced that they had not yet collected a complaint from the French diplomats and had been unable to contact them, even after contacting the Foreign Ministry. Additionally, they have not located the involved Palestinian minor, and they do not have a medical document regarding injuries, although according to an eyewitness he needed stitches. The attack occurred on October 17, when a group of masked Israelis attacked participants at olive harvesting events in the village of Taybeh in the Ramallah district, smashed the windshield of a Belgian diplomat's car, and blocked convoys. The Prime Minister's Office condemned the violence but called for caution before drawing conclusions.
