A security source confirmed that Unit 9900 in the IDF's Military Intelligence Directorate continues to assist the Saudi army against the Houthis, mediated by the US, out of national interest and political directive. According to him, the ongoing Saudi attacks are eroding the Houthis' military power, an enemy of Israel, while simultaneously allowing Israel to learn about their methods of operation and weaponry, including weapons not produced by them. The security source added that the pressure on Saudi Arabia is reshaping alliances in the Middle East and creating opportunities, and assessed that there would be intervention in favor of Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the IDF is completing multi-front preparations — at sea, in the air, on land, and in the spectrum domain — for an attack by the Houthis in a scenario that also includes Iran, Hezbollah, and Shia militias from Iraq, in coordination with the US military.
