Singer Yuval Raphael and American musician Matisyahu release today (Monday) their first collaboration: the song "Carry On," released ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The song, written by Rachel Spoznik and composed and produced by American producer Rico Love, deals with resilience and coping with pain. Raphael stated that the song speaks about the choice to get up and continue even after difficult moments, and that continuing does not mean forgetting but learning to live alongside pain. She added that in a time when Israel is presented to the world through war and harsh headlines, it is important for her to bring the human and beautiful side through music. Raphael, a survivor of the massacre in the death shelter near Kibbutz Be'eri, represented Israel at Eurovision 2025 with the song "New Day Will Rise" and came in second place. This year she participated in writing the song "Michelle" performed by Noam Betan, which also came in second place.
