The Ministry of Agriculture conducted a field tour of several olive presses in the Central Governorate to monitor operations and assess their readiness to receive olive fruits during the current season. The tour included follow-up on operating mechanisms, conditions for receiving and storing fruits, compliance with technical and health requirements, as well as documenting the main needs and challenges facing press owners, especially in light of damage to the agricultural sector and shortages of operating supplies and spare parts. The Ministry emphasized the importance of supporting the work of available presses in the governorate as a key link in the olive oil production chain, and working to ensure product quality and protect farmers' rights. This monitoring is part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance field supervision and guidance, support the olive sector, and inventory press needs, contributing to the continuity of agricultural production and promoting agricultural recovery in the Gaza Strip.
