The price hike comes about three months after parking rates in the lots increased by about 20%. The company explained that the rate had not changed since 2023, and that the update is due to rising operational, electricity, and maintenance costs. According to the company, even after the update, the rate remains lower than the market average. The charging stations are operated by Milgam EV-Edge, which won the tender in 2020. For comparison, home charging costs about 60 agorot per kWh, while fast charging on the general EV-Edge network ranges from 1.75 to 2.85 shekels.
