Actor Danny Steg revealed who he votes for – and was attacked: "She spat in my face"

Israeli actor Danny Steg told in an interview with Oded Harush, to be broadcast this coming Saturday night, about a difficult experience he went through at the theater years ago, after it became known that he had returned to religion. According to him, during an election period, the playwright gathered the actors and asked each one who they would vote for. The majority declared support for Ehud Barak, but Steg said he would not vote for Barak. In response, two actresses physically attacked him – one spat in his face and one kicked him in a private part. Steg considered leaving the theater, but his rabbi, Rabbi Yaakov Ades, advised him to return. The next day, the actresses apologized. Steg serves as a gabbai at the Gra synagogue in Tel Aviv and teaches acting at the "Torat HaChaim" Jewish film school. The full interview will be broadcast on Saturday night at 10:30 PM.
