The Municipal Youth Council and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports organized a workshop at the Khan Younis Municipality to discuss restoration mechanisms, amid a severe shortage of construction materials and difficulty providing alternative housing for the displaced. Mohammed Helles, Director General of the Sports Unit, stated that the workshop developed practical steps to return the hall to service, taking into account the needs of the displaced. Figures reveal the destruction of 264 sports facilities in Gaza, making the challenge one of rebuilding an entire sports system.
