A terrorist tried to throw an explosive device at our forces in Qabatiya – and was neutralized by fire

A terrorist attempted to throw an explosive device at IDF forces in Qabatiya, was identified by another force and neutralized by fire. No casualties to our forces. During searches, an additional device was found on his body and destroyed.

During an offensive operation by the Paratroopers Brigade Reconnaissance Unit in the Qabatiya area of the Menashe Brigade, a terrorist attempted to throw an explosive device at the forces. Another force operating in the area identified the terrorist and responded with fire. A hit was identified and the terrorist was neutralized, while the device exploded near him. There were no casualties to our forces. After the incident, the forces conducted searches in the area, during which an additional improvised explosive device was found on the terrorist's body, which he had not yet managed to throw at the forces. The device was destroyed in a controlled manner by the forces. The operation was carried out as part of the operational activity of IDF forces in the Menashe Brigade area, as part of the effort to thwart terrorist infrastructure and prevent harm to forces operating in the area.
