A sign of things to come? Barzani cuts IPO price by 20%
Y.D. Barzani has reduced its IPO price by 20%, lowering the valuation to 2.4 billion shekels, and will attempt to raise about 1 billion shekels. A third of the proceeds will be distributed as a dividend to shareholders. The CEOs' salaries will double to approximately 4.1 million shekels each.
Israel's largest private infrastructure company, Y.D. Barzani, has cut its IPO price by 20% – from a sought valuation of 2.8-3 billion shekels to 2.4 billion shekels (pre-money). The company, controlled by brothers Yossi Barzani and Dayan Bar, will try to raise about 1.03 billion shekels from local investors, led by underwriting firm Active of Omri Levi. A third (33%) of the proceeds is expected to be distributed as a dividend to shareholders after the IPO. The reduction comes against a backdrop of a cooling local IPO market and declines in the TA-35 index (about 3.7% in the past week) amid political uncertainty. The company ended the first half of 2026 with revenues of 402 million shekels (up 43.5%) and net profit of 46.3 million shekels. It forecasts 2026 revenues of 1.06 billion shekels and net profit of 113 million shekels. The salaries of the co-CEOs are expected to jump from about 2.5 million shekels to about 4.1 million shekels each after the IPO.
