A Secret Hidden for a Horse: Weapons and Ammunition Cache Found in a Refrigerator in a Galilee Stable
Border Police fighters and Northern District police officers discovered a weapons and ammunition cache in a refrigerator in a stable in the village of Mughar. As part of a proactive operational activity by Border Police fighters and Northern District police officers, conducted on September 17, 2026, the forces arrived at horse stables in the village of Mughar in the Galilee. During a search of the stable, the officers noticed a refrigerator, inside which a cache of weapons and ammunition was revealed. Among the seized items: a Carlo-type weapon, a Bruce-type weapon containing loose ammunition, 24 boxes full of ammunition, and a fragmentation grenade wrapped in plastic. All findings were seized by the forces and transferred to the forensic laboratories for further evidence extraction. The discovery joins the police's fight against criminal elements in the north.
