A child was killed and a number of Palestinians, including displaced people and fishermen, were injured as a result of Israeli gunfire and shelling that targeted tents of the displaced and various areas in the Gaza Strip on Sunday. Medical sources at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the death of a child from Israeli gunfire directed at tents of the displaced in the Maghazi camp in the central Strip. A displaced person was also injured by army fire in the Al-Sikka area of Khan Younis in the southern Strip, and another displaced person was seriously wounded by Israeli gunfire east of Al-Masdar village in central Gaza. Meanwhile, two fishermen were injured by shrapnel from a bomb dropped by an Israeli drone that targeted a fishing boat off the coast of the Shati camp west of Gaza City. Israeli forces fired heavily towards tents of the displaced around Hamad City north of Khan Younis, and their military vehicles targeted tents and homes of Palestinians south of the city and west of Rafah, coinciding with artillery shelling that hit the northeastern areas of Khan Younis. The attacks extended to various areas in the northern and central Strip, where the eastern areas of Gaza City, Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and the vicinity of Jabalia camp were subjected to artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military cranes. These events come as a continuation of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on October 10, 2025, under Arab and American sponsorship.
