The Metaylim hotel chain is leaving the Gesher HaZiv hotel after nearly 20 years and investing 30 million shekels in a new project in Akhziv. The hotel will include 76 accommodation units, including 48 rooms, 2 villas, and 25 glamping units, a restaurant, and a promenade. The opening is planned for the end of 2027.
The Metaylim hotel chain is parting ways with the Gesher HaZiv hotel after nearly 20 years of operation. At the end of October, the chain's activity at the hotel will end, and management will be transferred to the "Mosh's Beach" group. Instead, the chain is investing about 30 million shekels in renovating a new hotel in Akhziv, which will include 76 accommodation units: 48 hotel rooms, 2 villas, and 25 glamping units. The complex will feature a restaurant open to the public and a seaside promenade. The planning is being handled by Oren Architects, interior design by HaMeiri Designers, and landscape architecture by Efrat Cohen Erel. The opening is scheduled for the end of 2027. Bat Chen, CEO and founder of the chain, said the departure is a significant farewell, but the chain continues to strengthen its presence in the Western Galilee.
