The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since last March 2 has risen to 4,389 martyrs and 12,424 wounded, while the total toll since October 8, 2023, reached 8,956 martyrs and 30,660 wounded. The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon since last March 2 until October 12 has risen to 4,389 martyrs and 12,424 wounded. The ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center clarified that the total toll from the aggression since October 8, 2023, has risen to 8,956 martyrs and 30,660 wounded. This announcement comes amid continued Israeli attacks on towns in southern Lebanon, despite the agreement announced on June 26 in Washington, under American sponsorship, which included a framework formula stipulating a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory and the deployment of the Lebanese army in areas from which occupation forces withdraw. The occupation forces continue to bomb southern Lebanese towns by air and artillery, in addition to carrying out demolition operations.
