The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 3 martyrs and 11 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours, including one recently killed martyr and two martyrs who succumbed to their wounds. This brings the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025 to 1,568 martyrs and 5,649 wounded, while the number of recovered bodies reached 845. The total death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip rises to 74,564 martyrs and 175,770 wounded. On the ground, Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement by demolishing homes, opening fire, and shelling various areas, particularly the eastern and southern parts of Khan Younis Governorate. A number of displaced persons were injured as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting the vicinity of Ard al-Laymoun southeast of Khan Younis, while artillery shelled the eastern areas of al-Masdar village and east of Deir al-Balah in the central Strip. Tanks and Israeli military vehicles also opened fire northeast of Khan Younis, and artillery shelling renewed east of the city along with heavy gunfire in two phases in its southern areas. These violations continue despite the ceasefire agreement reached with Arab and American mediation in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh, which came into effect in October 2025.
