District Police Superintendent Kulbhushan Verma reported that Levi was arrested and a case was opened against him for weapons offenses. In his investigation, Levi claimed that he served in the IDF and the bullet apparently remained in his bag by mistake, without his knowledge. He was brought before a court on Wednesday, which ordered his detention for an additional two days. The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that the case is being handled by the Israeli Consulate in India.
