17-year-old girl strangled during physical activity in Mateh Yehuda – condition serious

A 17-year-old girl lost consciousness during a rope-based sports activity in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. Rescue Union medics provided initial treatment and oxygen on site, and she was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition.

A 17-year-old girl lost consciousness today (Sunday) during a rope-based sports activity in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, near Jerusalem. Rescue Union teams were called to the scene following a report of severe strangulation. Medics Yitzhak Strauss, Rachel Choveta, and Benzi Goldberg reported that the girl was strangled by a rope during the activity. After initial treatment and oxygen administration on site, she was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition for further tests and treatment in the trauma room. This is an unusual incident during organized sports activity.
