Pundit Yaara Zard expressed grave concern over the possibility of a left-wing minority government supported by the Arab parties, if the current election results hold. According to her, such a scenario is possible even without a majority of 61 seats. Zard noted that the left bloc currently stands at 48 seats, and together with Ra'am could form a minority government relying on the Arab parties. The only hope for the right, she said, lies in the double envelopes (votes of soldiers and security personnel) that could increase the right bloc by one seat and disrupt the picture. Zard noted that it is not known for certain where the double envelope votes will go, as there are also voters in Arab society included in them.
