Yehoram Gaon: "Another election is madness, we must come to our senses"

Israel Prize laureate Yehoram Gaon called on party leaders Netanyahu, Eisenkot, and Bennett to unite, warning that another election would be "madness." The interview was held ahead of the release of his new film "Probability of Love" starring Gaon and Meshi Kleinstein.

Two days after the polls closed in the elections for the 26th Knesset, Israel Prize laureate Yehoram Gaon and actress-singer Meshi Kleinstein were interviewed on the program "Bahatzi Hayom" on Kan News, ahead of the release of their new film "Probability of Love." Gaon called on party leaders Benjamin Netanyahu, Gadi Eisenkot, and Naftali Bennett to unite, warning that going to another election would be "madness" that would cost the public a great deal of money. Kleinstein expressed optimism and called for consideration of all voices. The film, directed by Amichai Greenberg, deals with a widowed actuary and his granddaughter investigating missing money in a pool. Gaon and Kleinstein shared anecdotes from the auditions and production of the film, and Kleinstein spoke about her debut album.
