The Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, filed a complaint with the Israel Police regarding forgery and impersonation of the party, following the distribution of false messages in its name ahead of the elections. The complaint was filed after a previous approach to the Central Elections Committee, which demanded action to locate those responsible. The party claimed that fake messages were circulated that impersonated official communications from it, using the party's name and the phone number used for unsubscribing from mailing lists. According to them, this is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and harm the party and the change bloc on the eve of the elections. The party called for responsible disclosure before publishing information and for avoiding the echoing of unverified reports.
