Without a transfer to Ben Gurion Airport and Jerusalem: The change awaiting train passengers in the Sharon

A new timetable by Israel Railways will connect Hadera, Netanya, and Beit Yehoshua to Jerusalem and Ben Gurion Airport without a transfer starting November 14, 2026. Alongside the upgrade, passengers from Hadera to Haifa will have to change trains in Binyamina, extending the journey by about 16 minutes.

Israel Railways will implement a new timetable starting Saturday evening, November 14, 2026. Under the change, the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon–Tel Aviv–Herzliya line will be extended to Hadera West, Netanya, and Beit Yehoshua stations, allowing passengers to reach Ben Gurion Airport and Jerusalem without changing trains. The upgrade includes adding about 140,000 seats per day and replacing diesel trains with electric ones. However, trains on the Beersheba–Karmiel line will no longer stop at Hadera West, extending the journey to Haifa by about 16 minutes via Binyamina. Also, lines from Beit Shemesh and Rehovot to Netanya will terminate in Herzliya instead of Netanya. The changes are made possible by the opening of the Eastern Railway and the implementation of a new signaling system.
