After pleasant and clear days, winter returns in full force: a significant rain system is expected to bring heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and a risk of flooding and flash floods. Starting Friday, the weather is expected to be wintry and stormy as the system enters our region. Heavy rains will fall mainly along the coastal plain, from the north to the Lachish area, and in the lowlands, with a real risk of flooding and a drop in temperatures. On Saturday, the system will peak, with significant rains in many areas, and flood warnings will remain in effect until evening hours. On Sunday, the system will gradually weaken, the significant rains will stop, and temperatures will rise slightly. On Monday, the weather will fully stabilize with clear skies and seasonal temperatures.
