Will Israel attack Yemen? The Americans' conversation with the Chief of Staff, his warning - and the documentation of the strike in Riyadh

Contrary to early reports, the Americans examined with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir the possibility of an Israeli strike in Yemen, not in Iran. Contrary to early reports, the Americans did not ask Israel to attack in Iran. In a conversation between Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and the commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, the possibility was examined that Israel would attack in Yemen against the backdrop of the escalation in the fighting with Saudi Arabia and the deadly missile strikes on Riyadh airport. Zamir warned that an Israeli strike could cause an escalation with the Houthis and perhaps also with Iran, and could postpone to an unknown date the elections in Israel, which are due to be held on October 27. Dramatic documentation published this evening shows the moment of yesterday's strike at King Khalid Airport, in which 12 people were killed and more than 300 wounded. The Americans are trying to avoid involvement in the Saudi-Yemeni crisis because of next month's midterm elections. In any case, the Air Force and Aman are in constant readiness for an escalation in the arena against Iran, which is still considered the main arena. The IDF and the US military have been in coordination since the declaration of the ceasefire and the end of Operation "Roaring Lion" in April. Aman is busy establishing a "target bank" in Iran.
