Hundreds of single men and women, young immigrants from around the world, are participating in a speed dating event and party in Jerusalem led by "Jewish Matchmaking" star Aleeza Ben Shalom. The event, under the title "Meet in Jerusalem," is held at the National Institutions Plaza and aims to connect new immigrants and help them build relationships and family in Israel.
Hundreds of single men and women, young immigrants from around the world, are participating in a speed dating event and giant party in Jerusalem under the title "Meet in Jerusalem" (MEET. MINGLE. PARTY.). The event is held at the historic National Institutions Plaza, the place where the State of Israel was established, and is managed by the star of the Netflix hit series "Jewish Matchmaking," Aleeza Ben Shalom. Ben Shalom, originally from the US and now an Israeli resident, is also a member of President Isaac Herzog's "Kol Ha'am" initiative. The event was born from the leadership of the World Zionist Organization, in partnership with the Jerusalem Municipality and the "Nefesh B'Nefesh" organization. Alongside dating rounds, it includes dinner, cocktails, social games, and a dance floor. The President of the World Zionist Organization, Rabbi Doron Peretz, emphasized that the building where the state was born is the most natural place for love and commitment to the future of the state to be born. He noted that hundreds of young people left everything in their countries of origin and chose to tie their fate to Israel. The star of the evening, Aleeza Ben Shalom, shared that bringing together hundreds of young Jewish singles in Jerusalem is an investment in the future of the Jewish people. The Jerusalem Municipality spokesperson welcomed the initiative and noted the importance of building the personal lives of immigrants in the city. Sarah Kantor from the "Nefesh B'Nefesh" organization concluded that creating opportunities for immigrants to connect and build meaningful relationships is an integral part of helping them feel at home.
