Water warning in Kfar Chabad: the easing and the directive still in effect

The Ministry of Health canceled the obligation to boil water only in the Beit Rivka neighborhood in Kfar Chabad. In the rest of the community, the directive remains in effect following abnormal results in water quality tests.

The Ministry of Health announced today (Sunday) a relaxation of the water warning in Kfar Chabad: the obligation to boil water was canceled only in the Beit Rivka neighborhood, while in the rest of the community it remains in effect until further notice. The directives were imposed following abnormal results received in water quality tests. Residents of the rest of the community are required to boil water before drinking, cooking, preparing medications, and brushing teeth. Tap water can still be used for bathing and sanitation without boiling. The directive will remain in effect until further notice from the Ministry of Health.
