The Joint List will air 48 seconds of drone footage of Gaza's destruction as its official election broadcast, accusing other parties of wanting more destruction and stating the footage has been largely hidden from the Israeli public. The video includes a Hebrew voiceover and somber music, criticizing the normalization of the devastation. The announcement was made during the 2026 Israeli election campaign.
The Joint List will dedicate its official election broadcast to 48 seconds of drone footage showcasing the destruction in the Gaza Strip, the party announced on Monday. The footage, viewed by The Jerusalem Post, cuts between different vantage points of the rubble and includes a Hebrew voiceover describing Israel as 'continuing as usual' despite the destruction, with somber music playing in the background. The video states, '(We) behave as if everything that has happened here (in Gaza) is completely normal... As if tens of thousands of people weren't killed here... As if entire cities were not destroyed and turned into wastelands.' The party claimed such footage has been 'largely hidden from the Israeli public' and accused other parties of 'wanting more destruction,' offering instead that 'We offer life.' The party stated it has 'firmly and consistently opposed the war of annihilation in Gaza, from its inception and throughout its entire course.' The announcement comes during the 2026 Israeli election campaign.
