Residents of Rahat reported heavy gunfire this morning lasting for hours, and documented themselves accompanying their children to school as bursts of gunfire were heard in the background. Police claim no reports were received about the prolonged shooting, and therefore no arrests were made. This is the second night in the past week that shooting has occurred in the town.

Some documented in a video how they accompanied their children to school, with bursts of incessant gunfire heard in the background. Police claim no reports were received about the prolonged shooting, and therefore no arrests of the shooters were made, despite residents' claims of hours of gunfire heard in the city. This is the second night in the past week that shooting has occurred in the town. Just last Saturday, residents of Giv'ot Bar reported massive and incessant gunfire in the morning hours from the nearby settlement. Following the shooting on Saturday, five shooters were arrested and three weapons and magazines were seized.
