Warning online: AI implants crosses in Jewish symbols

A video posted on TikTok sparked a storm on social media after presenting street advertisements and digital publications created or edited using artificial intelligence. According to the speaker, a close examination of the graphic elements reveals that the tools consistently embed hidden crosses within distinct Jewish symbols. The video showed examples: in one advertisement, an illustration of a Torah scroll appeared with a cross shape embedded within the crown on its mantle; in another advertisement inviting the public to prayer times, a cross shape was integrated into the design of the Torah ark and the parochet. Channel 14 also conducted a small experiment and asked an AI tool to create designs with Jewish motifs. In some of the images received, shapes resembling crosses appeared.
