The singer noted that many of the people who influenced his worldview are Jews, and that Ben Gvir 'brings their religion into disrepute.' Bono also criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, questioning the logic that allows a minister to serve in the government without being arrested, given Netanyahu's dependence on him to maintain the coalition majority. Bono added that Israel must 'fix the situation' and rectify what happened in the Nakba through compromise.
