A request to certify a class action lawsuit totaling 17.5 million shekels has been filed against Electra Consumer Products, alleging that the company fails to meet its obligation to repair air conditioners within three days of the service call, offering late appointments in violation of the law. The request was filed on November 4, 2026, at the Tel Aviv District Court. The plaintiff, who purchased an Electra Magic Touch 45T air conditioner in February 2022 with an extended warranty, experienced four recurring malfunctions between July and September 2026. According to his claim, he was offered appointments only after 7 to 11 days. The lawsuit seeks compensation of 500 shekels for each day of delay for approximately 5,000 affected customers per year. Electra responded that it adheres to high-quality service and will review the request.
