United Hatzalah teams who were called to Ha'atzmaut Street in the city provided him with initial medical treatment at the scene. The wounded man was evacuated to the hospital suffering from penetrating injuries. Medics Avraham Chaim Shpilberg and Shimon Ben Siksou stated that they provided initial medical assistance at the scene, and afterward he was evacuated in serious condition.
