The IDF announced a complete closure of Judea and Samaria on election day, which will take place this coming Tuesday, and restrictions on entry for Palestinian workers on Sunday and Monday. The background to the announcement is the security tensions and heightened alert ahead of the elections. Meanwhile, the Saudi Al-Hadath channel reported that Iran conveyed a proposal to the US, mediated by Pakistan, to open the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the removal of the American blockade on its ports, and that it is open to resuming negotiations. Iranian President Pezeshkian blamed the US for the failure of the interim agreement but called for another attempt. Security forces operated over the weekend in about 40 villages and arrested about 40 suspects, including terrorists from Hamas and the PIJ. In an operation in Hebron, ten suspects were arrested, and the IDF estimates that there are about 2,000 residents in the area affiliated with the Jabha clan, which is linked to Hamas.
