Two-year-old hit by car in the north, condition critical
A two-year-old toddler was hit by a car this evening (Sunday) in the village of Bu'eine Nujeidat in the north. Her condition is critical. A two-year-old toddler was hit by a car this evening (Sunday) in the village of Bu'eine Nujeidat in the north, and was evacuated in critical condition to the Poriya Medical Center. At 18:21, a report was received at the MDA 101 emergency hotline about the accident. Medics and paramedics provided life-saving medical treatment to the toddler at the scene, including stopping bleeding, chest compressions, and ventilation, and evacuated her to the hospital while continuing resuscitation efforts. MDA emergency medic Ahmed Rahaman said the toddler was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, and suffering from severe multi-system trauma. Northern District police officers and traffic accident investigators of the Israel Police arrived at the scene, directed traffic, and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
