Two scenes in 9 minutes: five wounded in violent incidents in the south and Jerusalem area
Five people were wounded in two violent incidents that occurred nine minutes apart, near the Qalandia checkpoint and at the entrance to Rahat. Three men were wounded near the Qalandia checkpoint, including a 25-year-old in serious and unstable condition. Minutes later, two more wounded were reported in a shooting incident at the entrance to Rahat. The wounded were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem, Shaare Zedek, and Soroka hospitals.
Five people were wounded today (Friday) in two violent incidents that occurred just nine minutes apart, one near the Qalandia checkpoint in the Jerusalem area and the other at the entrance to Rahat in the south. At 16:05, a report was received of three men with penetrating wounds brought to a rendezvous point near the Qalandia checkpoint. Among the wounded were a 25-year-old man in serious and unstable condition, a 26-year-old man in moderate condition, and another wounded person in mild condition. They were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem and Shaare Zedek hospitals. Nine minutes later, at 16:14, a report was received of a shooting incident at the entrance to Rahat, in which two more men were wounded. A man about 30 years old was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in moderate condition, and another wounded person was evacuated in mild condition. MDA teams provided initial medical treatment at both scenes. The circumstances of the incidents have not yet been published.
