Trump noted: "I repeatedly stated that it would take 4-6 weeks to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat, and I did it overnight!" He also addressed Iranian citizens, urging them to view the end of the conflict as a chance to change the political situation in the country. The statement was posted on social media platform X. Washington continues to increase pressure on Tehran by introducing new sanctions. Iranian authorities have not yet officially commented on the American leader's statement. Earlier, it was reported that Trump is considering easing sanctions in exchange for concessions on the nuclear program, and also rejected Tehran's initiative to resume shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
