Israel Railways announced temporary changes to train service in the Tel Aviv and Herzliya area, which will take place this weekend, on Friday and Saturday evening, November 6-7, 2026. The changes are due to essential infrastructure work by the Electric Company and safety upgrades to the tracks. As part of the work, several lines will operate in a split format: trains on the Modi'in-Nahariya, Be'er Sheva-Nahariya, and Ashkelon-Binyamina lines will run between the southern stations and Tel Aviv Savidor Center station, and between Herzliya station and the northern stations. There will be no train service between Tel Aviv Savidor Center and Herzliya stations. Trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Herzliya line will start and end their journey at Tel Aviv Savidor Center station, and trains on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will end their journey at this station. Israel Railways will operate a free shuttle service between the closed stations. Train service is expected to return to full operation on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 4:00 AM.
