The Central-Lod District Court unanimously convicted Ahmed Sa'id, a certified nurse who served as shift supervisor at a hospital, of rape and indecent acts. According to the verdict, in December 2024, Sa'id asked a nursing student, a mother of three, to accompany him to fetch equipment during a night shift. Instead, he led her to the on-call doctor's room, locked the door, and raped her, despite her pleas: "Enough, let me go, I don't want to." The complainant testified that she froze in fear due to post-trauma from previous assaults, and that she feared for her life. After the incident, she returned to work and only told her psychologist three days later. Sa'id denied the charges and claimed the act was consensual, but the judges rejected his version and ruled that he was indifferent to her will.
