Channel 14 is launching tonight a new documentary series called 'The Operating Table', which will analyze senior Israeli politicians from an unconventional angle. In each episode, five experts from different fields will examine one politician: an economics expert, a rhetoric expert, a body language expert, a stylist, and a graphologist. The participants in the series include Benjamin Netanyahu, Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, Itamar Ben Gvir, Avigdor Lieberman, Yair Golan, Aryeh Deri, and Bezalel Smotrich. Alongside the professional analyses, a special poll by Shlomo Filber will examine unconventional questions such as whether the public would want Lieberman as a business partner or Ben Gvir as a neighbor. The series combines archival footage, embarrassing moments, and surprising revelations, and attempts to reveal who is really hiding behind the suit and slogans. It is a political entertainment program broadcast on a channel identified with the right wing, during an election period.
