To mark 30 years of creation - the musical group "Infected Mushroom" will celebrate at a giant festival

The electronic trance group Infected Mushroom marks 30 years of activity and is launching the "Infected Festival" this coming weekend at Park HaYarden. The three-day event will feature four stages, a camping area, and dozens of guest artists, including Berry Sakharof, Ninette Tayeb, Hadag Nahash, and Hatikva 6. Amit Duvdevani, who founded the group in 1996 together with Erez Aizen, addressed the scale of the production and stated: "Production-wise, nothing like this has been done in Israel. That I can say. We went maybe ten levels at least beyond what I remember was done here." The initiative to establish the festival in Israel comes precisely during a complex period on the international stage, where Israeli artists face waves of cancellations and boycotts from leading festivals such as "Boom Festival" in Portugal. Duvdevani described the changing reality: "Many are avoiding us, and some tell us: 'It's not appropriate right now.' And some who have already invited us encounter various protests or online campaigns. You can't fight it. If they don't want us, we don't come." After a long career touring major festivals worldwide, the duo aims to make the northern event a permanent tradition that attracts local audiences and fans from abroad. According to Duvdevani, "We are here to establish a tradition, and there is no reason not to do it here. We have many more goals, we have much more desire to make music."
