Ahead of his fourth speech at the UN General Assembly since the Russian invasion in 2022, Zelenskyy pointed an accusing finger at India, Turkey, and especially China, for their support of Moscow. He accused Beijing of supplying secret technology to Russia, such as communication systems reminiscent of Starlink technology, and claimed that China is doing so to test these capabilities on the battlefield ahead of its future conflicts. He also noted that North Korean soldiers have been sent to fight alongside Russia to gain combat experience.
