A senior Israeli political official told Al-Monitor that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not afraid of delaying elections due to a security escalation, and it may even serve him politically. Meanwhile, a report on Channel 12 citing senior American officials stated that the Pentagon has ordered CENTCOM to complete preparations for renewing a broad campaign against Iran. In recent days, the Houthis have intensified attacks against Saudi Arabia: on Thursday, three Saudi civilians were killed, on Saturday a missile hit Riyadh airport causing 12 casualties, and another attack followed the next day. However, Saudi Arabia has for now rejected the Israeli attempt to join the campaign against the Houthis, fearing a negative reaction from the Saudi public. An Israeli security official noted that Israel has advantages in intelligence and precision strike capabilities, but Riyadh fears open cooperation. Meanwhile, a Reuters report citing Western sources said that Iran has restored its missile and drone capabilities to pre-war levels, while dispersing production to more sites, some underground. An Israeli intelligence official said the main concern is the rapid restoration of Iran's ballistic missile array.
