It added that prisoners are forced each time to waive their complaints, and that the latest assault occurred without warning, amid detention conditions including poor and scarce food, deprivation of exposure to sunlight, and being forced to wear wet clothes. It also indicated that Gaza prisoners are prevented from praying and reading the Quran, and do not have clocks to know the time. The office called on human rights and international institutions to intervene urgently.
