"They are pressuring me to call for a vote": Police storm the restaurant of Sheikh Muhammad Amara's daughter and detain him inside for 4 hours
Sheikh Muhammad Amara reported that Israeli police stormed a restaurant in the village of Zulfa belonging to his daughter, and detained him inside for more than four hours, interrogating him about his political positions and personal beliefs, amid what he described as harassment against him.
Sheikh Muhammad Amara from the village of Zulfa reported that Israeli police and special units stormed, on Wednesday, a restaurant belonging to his daughter in the village, and detained him inside for more than four hours. The Sheikh explained that the police searched the restaurant despite the family clarifying that it belonged to his married daughter outside the village and not to him, and that the court order was issued in his name and not in his daughter's name. He added that during the detention he was prevented from praying, performing ablution, or using the bathroom, and was interrogated about his political ideas and personal beliefs, without the investigators touching on anything related to the restaurant. The Sheikh described the actions as illegal and constituting harassment against him.
