The IDF has launched an extensive search operation for the head of Maj. (res.) Niral Zini, who was murdered and beheaded by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. His family claims that his head was taken from the scene by the terrorists. The operation, which began about three weeks ago, is being conducted in four areas around the kibbutz, including fields that served as movement and retreat routes for the terrorists toward Gaza. These areas were bombed by the Air Force during the attack. In Kfar Aza, 62 kibbutz members, 18 IDF and Shin Bet soldiers were murdered, and 19 civilians were abducted. The searches are being carried out following pressure from the Zini family, in the hope of finding the remains of his body and bringing them to burial.
