It was also revealed that Levin pushed for Levi's appointment as president of the Be'er Sheva District Court in 2024, when he filed a petition demanding his appointment despite opposition from Judge Vogelman. The appointment was stalled for six months, and later Levi was transferred to his current position as president of the Haifa District Court as part of committee agreements. The minister's associates explain that they became friends after the appointment process. Judge Levi's office stated that he is a long-time fan of the team and a season ticket holder at Gate 1, as is Minister Levin, and they met as subscribers.
